Michael Burnette

Chief Service Officer

Michael serves as Chief Service Officer for Leapfrog, which means he is responsible for the delivery of extraordinary services to our clients. Michael is passionate about the engineering of support processes that help make life easy for clients.

He came upon this as an idea for a career when a professor told him that what he was learning was not meant to be used for working in “Information Technology,” thus making it all the more interesting to do so when the opportunity presented itself. Michael has been a Director of IT for a legal practice, a VP of IT in the property management industry, and a CTO for a large legal-industry MSP. Michael has held leadership positions from nearly the start. He holds two degrees from Georgia Tech as well as certifications in Scaled Agile Management, IT Process Management (ITIL), Apple tech support, and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). In Michael’s certification archive? The venerable Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, once desirable Citrix Certified Administrator, and the quirky Lotus Notes Developer. They are good reminders that IT only moves forward!

Michael keeps an oscilloscope on the desk in his home office, as well as three books that reference work he once did because he was curious.
